The global reception that followed Burna boy’s new musical album has been phenomenal. The latest album titled ‘Twice As Tall’, continues to gain worldwide recognition on billboards, popular downloads, and streaming platforms, making it the first Afrobeats album to receive high ratings globally. The album is currently being featured on billboards in New York, LA, and London, courtesy of YouTube Music, Amazon, and Spotify. The album also peaked No 1 on Apple music.

In the light of this feat, Billboard charts, a body that tabulates the relative weekly popularity of songs and albums in the United States and elsewhere, recently announced that Burna Boy’s album “Twice As Tall” debuts at number 54 on Billboard 200 Chart. This is record-breaking as this is the highest chart ranking so far by a Nigerian artist on the Billboard 200 chart. This is a huge achievement not just for Burna boy, but for the entire Nigeria music industry.
