Adebayo Alonge is a pharmacist and inventor, known for creating RxScanner, an Artificial Intelligence (AI) that scans and detects counterfeit drugs within 15 seconds, for pharmacies in cities across Africa. In light of this, he has been commended by Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, for being a global pioneer of drug authentication using deepTech in track and trace programs for the pharma industry. 

Adebayo Alonge is also a visionary market development professional, who has successfully sold over $180 million products. With the ability to create and implement solutions that solve challenges faced by businesses in delivering products and services to global markets, Adebayo has successfully impacted society and the world.

The global pioneer is Chief Executive Officer of RxAll Inc., a United States-based health information technology/big data startup firm, named Best Early-Stage startup in Hello Tomorrow Global Challenge. He co-founded RxAll Inc. in 2016 alongside Amy Kao and Wei Liu, to prevent patients from counterfeit medicines and to provide a way for them to authenticate their drugs.

Adebayo holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from the prestigious University of Ibadan and a Master of Business Administration, with a focus on Strategy and Finance from Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University. He also completed a Master of Advanced Management degree from Yale School of Management, International Business Study from the Graduate School of International Corporate Strategy and currently, Mid-Career Masters in Public Administration (Mason Program) at Harvard Kennedy School.

Adebayo boasts of an excellent career drive and growth, having combined training in the pharmaceutical sciences, strategy consulting, business management, software programming, cannabis, digital marketing, and 11-year experience developing high-net-worth business for multinationals such as BCG, Roche, Sanofi as well as software and internet startups in Africa, USA and Canada.

The multi-award-winning inventor was named winner of the 2019 Hello Tomorrow Global Deeptech Challenge, otherwise known as BNP Paribas Group Deep Tech Award, for inventing a handheld nano scanner that detects counterfeit drugs. Interestingly, he was the first African to emerge winner of the highly competitive contest. 

In recognition of his impacts in the technology space, Adebayo has received various awards and honours including the United States Department of State’s Award for outstanding contributions to business and entrepreneurship in Africa (2014), the Global Social Venture award from InnovateHealth (2016), China Award for Best DeepTech Platform in the World (2018), Winner of Deep Tech Award with a £100,000 prize (2019), Young Innovator – YouWin!, Regional finalist for the Hult Prize Global Case Competition and awards in person from Barack Obama, former United States’ President and Justin Trudeau, Canada’s Prime Minister.
