Apply for the University of Lincoln’s £5,000 African Scholarship
To support high-achieving postgraduate students, the University of Lincoln is offering a unique funding program of £5,000 to high-achieving postgraduate African students for the academic year 2020/21.
Recently listed as one of the top 20 universities in the UK for overall student satisfaction in the National Student Survey 2020, the University of Lincoln has a reputation for innovative teaching, excellent graduate prospects as well world-class research studies.
For programs commencing in 2020/21, the University of Lincoln is offering Scholarship worth £5,000 to African postgraduate students. This scholarship is highly competitive and will only be awarded to candidates who demonstrate excellence in academia, extracurricular or personal endeavor.
Eligibility
* Be a national of (or permanently domiciled in) Africa.
* Have been awarded, or expected to receive a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with a minimum GPA score of 65% (equivalent to a 2:2 in the UK).
* Meet the English language requirements of your intended course of study. This typically ranges from an IELTS 6.0 – 7.0 or equivalent.
It is important to note that Lincoln university receives your application by 4pm (UK time) on one of the following closing dates for courses commencing in January/February 2021.
Round 1: Friday 2nd October 2020
Round 2: Friday 13th November 2020
The above will be assessed by completing a 300-word statement as part of the scholarship application form.

Lincoln University will notify all candidates of the outcome of their scholarship application within 10 days of the closing date.
