Dr Emmanuel Okeleji
Dr Emmanuel Okeleji is a Medical Doctor and Entrepreneur. He is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of SeamlessHR, an end-to-end HR software for emerging markets.
SeamlessHR currently has impressive clientele in Nigeria and Ghana such as Coronation Bank, Lagos Business School, NIBSS, Providus Bank, PwC, Sterling Bank, Wema Bank amongst others, and is now setting its sights on companies in other African countries. In November 2020, Emmanuel Okeleji alongside his cofounder Deji Lana and other team members helped SeamlessHr raise 7-figure funding in a bid to drive its pan-African growth.
Previously, Emmanuel Okeleji managed Insidify, a social jobs site he founded between 2013 – 2017, which according to him, works like “a ‘Google’ for jobs, combining job openings from major job sites in Nigeria, company career pages, newspapers and classifieds.
Emmanuel completed a Goldman Sachs investment banking internship in 2011 while studying Medicine and Surgery at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State; and started Waressence, (2007 – 2013) an incorporated software development company alongside his current co-founder, Deji Lana. One of the tools they built back in the mid to late 2000s, a software tool for cooperatives, is still in use today by MTN Cooperative Society, the Erickson, and ECOWAS cooperative society.

Emmanuel is also the founder of Employment Edge, a graduate finishing school – teaching foreign languages (French, German, Portuguese) and employment etiquette to fresh Nigerian University graduates and was on the founding team of Lifeplan Healthcare Limited (2013 – 2020) as Assistant Project Director on a $100million PE funded multi-specialist hospital project.
One of the lessons more than 10 years of running a business has taught Emmanuel is discovering new ways to provide solutions. This is proof of his work at SeamlessHR, Insidify, Waressence, Employment Edge and other business ventures.
