Helium Health
Helium Health is West Africa’s largest Electronic Medical Records and Management Information Systems supplier that supports healthcare providers with a comprehensive suite of technology solutions dedicated to managing every aspect of healthcare delivery – from electronic medical records and telemedicine to administration and financial management.
Helium Health solutions include HeliumPay, a billing and payments solution that enables healthcare facilities to accept payments from multiple sources; and HeliumCredit, a quick and easy solution for hospitals to access instant, collateral-free loans. Currently, over 300 healthcare providers and 5,000 health professionals are on its platform across West African markets.
Helium Health was Founded in 2016 by three brilliant Nigerian entrepreneurs – Adegoke Olubisi, Tito Ovia, and Dimeji Sofowora, to digitalize Nigeria’s health sector by enabling hospitals’ transition from a paper-based record system to a smart digital system.
On a mission to accelerate Africa’s transition to technology and data-driven healthcare sector, the company started operations with their flagship product – Helium Health EHR, a cloud-based and offline health records, and hospital management (EHR/HMIS) solution that is simple, robust, easy to adopt, highly customizable and built around the peculiarities of the Nigerian market.
The comprehensive, easy to use EMR/HMIS is perfectly engineered for health facilities in emerging markets with features including smart analysis, video call, voice call and text message eVisits. The EMR/HMIS solution allows health facilities to automate and improve their process, turbocharge their operational efficiency, increase patient satisfaction, boost revenue, and focus on practising medicine, rather than administration.
