Ada Nduka-Oyom
Ada Nduka Oyom is a Developer Relations and Community Expert. She is the Founder of She Code Africa, a non-profit organization that is focused on empowering young girls and women in Africa through technical skills.
As founder of She Code Africa, Ada is dedicated to empowering women and girls across the continent to pursue careers in technology by providing training, mentorship, and networking opportunities to help them achieve their goals.
She Code Africa has grown rapidly since its inception, and has become a leading voice in the technology industry in Africa. The organization has trained thousands of women in coding, data science, and other technology skills.
She Code Africa has also partnered with tech companies like Facebook, Google, and GitHub to provide mentorship and internship opportunities for women in technology.

One of the key initiatives of She Code Africa is its coding bootcamps, which provide intensive training in programming languages such as Python, Java, and JavaScript. The bootcamps are designed to help women and girls acquire the skills they need to succeed in the technology industry, regardless of their educational background or previous experience.
She Code Africa also offers mentorship programs, which connect women with experienced professionals in the technology industry who can provide guidance and support as they navigate their careers. In addition, She Code Africa hosts networking events, hackathons, and other community-building activities that help women and girls connect with each other and build a supportive network.
Ada’s vision for She Code Africa is to create a world where women and girls have equal access to technology education and career opportunities. She believes that by empowering women in technology, we can unlock the full potential of the industry and drive innovation and growth across the continent.
Ada completed a bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and several tech certifications from Google.
Ada continues to volunteer her time as a technical and career mentor under several mentoring programs to help more people grow in tech. She is also the voice behind the tech podcast Forloop pod (https://podcast.forloop.africa/) where she hosts technical talks and interviews with experts on their tech journey.
She is currently a Global Youth Ambassador for Their World, One of the 100 most inspiring women in Nigeria by Leading Ladies Africa 2018, Role model Award winner in the Booking.com Tech Playmaker Awards 2020 and Top 10 Women making change through Education across the world in Women of the world Awards 2021.
