Bosun Tijani
Bosun Tijani is a Nigerian-British entrepreneur and Chief Executive Officer at Co-creation Hub Nigeria, one of Africa’s leading technology innovation platform focused on increasing the application of social capital and technology for economic advancement. Bosun Tijani is our MCM today.
In a quest to promote health and fitness, Bosun Tijani also founded Truppr, an emerging social platform in Africa that connects individuals to fitness and sports events across the world. He is also a Partner at Growth Capital, Nigeria’s foremost social innovation fund for high potential and early-stage businesses that employ technology to develop several innovative ideas. Bosun initiated and received the first visit of popular social media innovator and entrepreneur, Mark Zuckerberg in 2016.
Bosun obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Jos, a Master of Science degree in Information Systems and Management from the Warwick Business School, Master of Business Administration from the Lagos Business School, certificate of completion on Innovation for Economic Development from Harvard Kennedy School and a PhD in Innovation and Economic Development from the University of Leicester.
At Co-creation Hub Nigeria, Bosun creatively works alongside team members and stakeholders, which include entrepreneurs, technologist, civil society, government and private sectors to identify and develop innovative solutions to pressing issues in Africa. He has spearheaded social technology projects like the Lagos Innovation Hotspots and i-HQ. Through technology, he has also influenced the growth of social innovation, producing initiatives and businesses that have positively affected the society, fiscal transparency, e-commerce, healthcare, education, wellness and transportation.

Prior to founding Co-creation hub, Bosun worked as a European Research Network Manager at Pera, from 2007 to 2010. He was also Consultant on Internet and Communication Technologies at the International Trade Centre (UNCTAD/WTO) FROM 2005 to 2007. There, he was majorly responsible for design implementation and management of ICT for trade development related projects in developing countries.
For his remarkable and innovative contributions in Africa, Bosun was listed among the 100 Most Influential People on the continent by New Africa Magazine.
Bosun Tijani is the first fellow of the International Trade Centre, where he researched on trade development with a focus on enterprise management development. He is also a Desmond Tutu leadership fellow, an Adjunct Research Fellow at the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research, a fellow of the Center for Democracy and Rule of Law at Stanford University and a member of the Presidential Advisory Group on Technology and Creativity.
