Davido Set to Feature in the Forthcoming Sequel of Classic Hollywood Blockbuster Movie, “Coming to America”
The award-winning Nigerian ace musician and DMW boss, David Adeleke known as Davido is set to make his debut in the forthcoming sequel of classic Hollywood hit movie, “Coming to America”. The sequel of the Paramount Pictures film which originally debuted in 1988, is set to hit the cinemas on the 18th of December 18, 2020.

The Hollywood movie which has remained a classical movie audience favorite since the 1980s stars Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall, James Earl Jones, and Paul Bates as its main cast. The stars will be retaining their original roles in the sequel which will be released soon.
Reacting to the news about his Hollywood debut, an excited Davido re-tweeted the announcement and simply wrote “Can’t wait!”. However, Davido is not the only one who cannot wait, we all cannot wait to see the wonders he would be performing on our screen.
Davido is undoubtedly one of the biggest music brand icons to come out of Nigeria and across Africa. He continues to put Nigeria on the global entertainment map with his many successes.
Internationally, Davido has sold out shows and collaborated with the best international acts, performed at festivals and for the recognition of his unrelenting musical efforts, he has won several international awards such as the BET Awards, MOBO Awards, Channel O Awards, MTV EMAs, and many more.
Davido recently released his first single of 2020 titled, ‘FEM. The song marks the return of Davido to social media after taking a long break from the platform as he gears up for his third studio album, “A Better Time” following the album “A Good Time”.
