Foluso Ogunwale Is Revolutionizing Fitness and Wellness in Africa

Foluso Ogunwale is an entrepreneur with several years of experience in Sales, Marketing and Human Resources. He is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of i-Fitness Gym and Wellness Centre Limited, a company on a mission to make the culture of health and fitness common, more fun, more convenient and more affordable to millions of Nigerians and Africans.

Founded in 2015, i-Fitness Gym aims not just to provide state-of-the-art fitness facilities but also to foster a holistic approach to well-being encompassing physical, mental, and emotional health.

Under Foluso’s leadership, i-Fitness Gym has emerged as a trailblazer in the Nigerian fitness industry, offering a diverse range of services tailored to meet the evolving needs of its clients. From modern equipment to personalized training programs, i-Fitness epitomizes excellence in every aspect of fitness and wellness.

Beyond establishing a successful business, Foluso is deeply committed to empowering individuals to embark on their own transformative journeys toward a healthier lifestyle. Through community outreach programs, educational workshops, and motivational seminars, he seeks to inspire and educate individuals on the significance of prioritizing their well-being.

Foluso completed a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a master’s degree in Financial Economics from the University of London, and he is a senior professional in Human Resources (SHRM/SPHR).

Before i-Fitness, Foluso founded Premier Impact Limited in 2011, which later became Yes Mobile in 2015, an electronics retail chain with 5 branches in Lagos.

Yes Mobile was the first to launch two innovative retail initiatives in Nigeria in mobile: the mobile electronics insurance with Axa Mansard PLC and the mobile swap initiative enabling customers to trade in their old devices (laptops & phones) for new ones.

Foluso successfully led the company from an annual turnover of N400m in 2011 to N4bn annual turnover in 2016 before entering into an acquisition deal with Yudala Nigeria Limited, now Konga Limited.

Foluso’s visionary leadership and unwavering dedication have attracted widespread recognition, earning him several accolades within the industry. However, his greatest reward lies in witnessing the tangible impact of his efforts on the lives of countless individuals who have embraced fitness as a catalyst for positive change.
