Interview with the CEO, Ewoma Organics

Lemuel Yole-Odior; CEO, Ewoma Organics

Why did you decide to be an entrepreneur?

I’ve always loved business from a young age. I remember selling pure water and biscuits in church while in secondary school and I also sold clothes. During my University days, I sold artworks and then went ahead to start my fashion business in 2014. I’ve never really pictured myself working in an office.

What inspired the idea of the “Ewoma Organics” brand and when did you start your initiative?

Ewoma Organics was founded in 2019 after my daughter and I went through postpartum hair loss and I couldn’t stand it. I went ahead to research and this birthed the brand. I started off teaching Moms and ladies to take care of their hair and their kid’s hair from home for free and gradually, the demand grew for hair products increased and we launched out.

At the rate at which women are dealing with hair issues and low self-esteem, and how they look, our brand not only helps women grow healthy long hair but also raises women’s self-esteem and confidence.
