Lagos Agripreneurship Programme (LAP) Intensive Training

Applications are invited from interested candidates (men between the ages of 18 and 35 and women between the ages of 18 and 55 years) for placement into a one-month Agriculture training program in the Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture.

The Lagos Agripreneurship Programme (LAP) was founded by Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu as an intervention programme aimed at creating jobs, alleviating poverty and ensuring food security through training and empowerment of women and youths in modern agricultural practices as Agripreneurs.

Successful candidates will be placed into a one-month training at the Agricultural Training Institute, Araga, Epe in: 

1. Poultry

2. Piggery

3. Aquaculture

4. Vegetable Value Chains

5. E-Agric and Agribusiness

Requirements:

To be considered for the LAP training, you must:

1. Be unemployed

2. Have passion for agriculture

3. Have satisfactory physical/health conditions

4. Have minimum of senior secondary school certificate

5. Be in the age ranges between 18-35 years for men and 18-55 years for women

Duration and Reward:

The training will run for a period of one month.

After the training, participants will also undergo a minimum of three months internship and mentorship phase.
