Ingressive LLC was founded in 2014 by Maya after discovering that key sectors and industries in Africa were repeatedly overlooked based on her experience consulting with major international firms. Ingressive is a market entry, technology research and market operations firm that assists global investment funds and corporations to set up and operate within Sub-Saharan Africa. Ingressive’s clients include Y Combinator, USAID, Github, Facebook and others.

Passionate about growth on the African continent, Maya co-founded and launched the High Growth Africa Summit in 2016. The summit is a two-day conference on how to launch, scale and fund a high growth African business. In the past, the summit has been sponsored by GitHub, Google Launchpad, 500 Startups amongst others.

In 2017, Ingressive Capital, a $10 million venture fund investing 200k to 400k into early-stage, technology-enabled Sub-Saharan African companies was launched. The firm provides follow-on funding with its investor base and looks out for post-launch founders with great products and works with them on growth and scale through business development, partnerships, and financial support. Ingressive Capital’s portfolio companies include Paystack, Tizeti, Ogavenue, Jetstream, 54gene, and OZÉ among many others.
