N-POWER 2020 RECRUITMENT 

N-Power is a youth empowerment scheme sponsored by the Federal Government of Nigeria. This is to address the challenges of youth unemployment by providing a platform for large-scale and relevant work skills acquisition while linking its core and outcomes to fixing inadequate public services and stimulating the larger economy. The Federal government of Nigeria started the N-Power program in August 2016 with the focus of reducing the country’s high unemployment rate. Thus, N-Power intends to provide a platform where most Nigerians can access skills acquisition and development. 

Since its inception, N-Power has trained over 500,000 beneficiaries in various vocational areas which include farming, agro-processing, financial literacy, communication, digital skills, to highlight a few. As a result, over 100,000 beneficiaries have set up businesses within their communities post the N-Power Program.

The N-Power 2020 Recruitment is currently ongoing for both graduates and non-graduates. Therefore, below are the application requirements and recruitment criteria. 

N-Power application requirements

Minimum of a Higher National Diploma (HND) or a bachelor’s degree from a higher institution.

Nigeria resident and be a Nigerian citizen by birth.

Birth certificate/ Age declaration.

Bank verification number (BVN)

Valid phone number and E-mail Address

WAEC/BSc/HND degree from a reputable institution

Between 18 to 35 years

Download and print-out the Parent/Guardian and Acknowledgment Form

Valid means of identification like International Passport, Voters ID-Card, National ID-card or Driver’s License.

N-Power Recruitment criteria

Unemployed graduates or non-graduates

Between 18-35 years old

Basic illustration skills will be an advantage for animation and graphic arts

For Script Writing, creative writing skills and analytical writing skills will be an advantage

Problem-solving skills

Ability to undertake self-tutorship

Detail-oriented

Analytical
