Obasanjo Partners Kario Events to Stage Agritainment Reality TV Show

Obasanjo partners Kairo events to stage Agritainment Reality TV Show in Nigeria. The first-ever Face of Agriculture Nigeria, (FOAN) Agritainment reality TV show is set to be staged as organizers recently launched promotional materials at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), Abeokuta, Ogun state; in preparation for the show. FOAN is a reality TV show organized by Kairo Events and Entertainment, in collaboration with Obasanjo Farms Limited.

The Project Director of Kairos, Mr Wealth Sunday said, the reality TV show will enable social progress and the development of the agricultural sector. He also stated that the major criteria for the reality show will be a passion for agriculture, intelligence, and vision for growth. The show would be held for three months with 48 housemates.

Obasanjo partners Kairo Events to include youths in the agricultural sector to achieve agricultural development through entertainment.

The housemates would undergo various forms of agricultural training. Lectures would be held; practice sessions and games would be done. The live show will educate people as well as entertain them. The FOAN show will be a family show that could be seen by persons of any age, including children. 

The show which is set to stage its maiden edition will utilize the entertainment platform to ignite the youths’ interest in agriculture. The operations of the show will focus on facilitating modern farming practices in Nigeria and blending agriculture into entertainment. Another focus will be to enlighten Nigerian youths on ‘the big picture’ of agricultural growth and its importance to the world.

Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo is positive that the program would bring changes in the agricultural sector. According to him,

”It will reduce the rate of unemployment and poverty; help in diversifying the Nigerian economy and get the attention and interest of Nigerian youths drawn to agriculture.”

Organizers of the show noted that entertainment is fundamental to every society and that, it is still one of the best platforms to project positive images. They regarded it as an entry point and a strategic way to positively engage Nigerian youths.

The show is open to Nigerians between the ages of 18 to 32 and winners will be rewarded with gifts and grants. Winners will also be equipped with skills in husbandry, poultry farming, Agro-business and opportunities in different agricultural schemes.
