She Leads Africa (SLA) is a social enterprise targeted at providing every smart African woman with the resources to build amazing businesses and careers. She Leads Africa aims to be the number 1 destination for smart African women globally. SLA supports smart and ambitious women in Africa by providing meticulously curated information and guidance on career and business.

SLA was founded in 2014 by Yasmin-Belo Osagie and Afua Osei. Yasmin Belo-Osagie is a graduate of Princeton University with degrees in History and Finance, a JD from Harvard Law School and an MBA from Stanford Business School. Afua Osei has an MBA and an MPA at University of Chicago studied international management at the London School of Economics and graduated cum laude from Allegheny College.

She Leads Africa runs three main programs, Motherland Mogul Insider, High Growth Coaching Program (HGCP) and the SLAY Festival. Motherland Mogul Insider is a community that gives you access to exclusive resources, jobs and business opportunities, expert coaches and a network of African women to help you meet your goals. HGCP is a 3-month program designed to identify, support and fund the next generation of Nigeria’s brightest female entrepreneurs. The SLAY Festival is a celebration of culture, innovation and business for African women. During the festival, you learn from speakers, attend masterclasses, shop from women led businesses, have fun with your girls and meet other fab African women.

She Leads Africa has been featured on CNN, CNBC Africa, Sahara Reporters, Forbes including others. The founders have also been named amongst Forbes’ 20 Youngest Power Women in Africa. In 2016, She Leads Africa was invited to ring the closing bell at the New York Stock Exchange and was the first African start-up to do so. SLA has also partnered with leading global brands like Huawei, Facebook and Guaranty Trust Bank to help them connect to smart and ambitious African women.
