Stephanie Obi Partners Shecluded to Launch the “Knowledge is the New Gold” Challenge
Due to the adverse effects of COVID-19, governments around the world have taken drastic measures such as total lockdown and social distancing to reduce the spread of the virus and protect lives. As such, business operations have been grounded, placing significant strain on the business community and the economy. The loss of a source of income is one of the unfortunate impacts of the virus, as the coronavirus outbreak will affect commercial and business activities for months to come.
During this critical period, award-winning author, Stephanie Obi is intensifying efforts to empower women across Africa. Using her experience as the pioneer of one of Africa’s leading online learning platforms, TrainQuarters, Stephanie in collaboration with Shecluded, created the “Knowledge is the New Gold” challenge.
Named after her bestselling book with the same title, Knowledge is the New Gold challenge aims to teach people how to turn their knowledge into profitable courses online. This would eliminate the initial challenges African entrepreneurs face when they begin to create online courses. Apart from the financial benefits, the online courses would bridge the educational gap through training from an experienced professional. Stephanie’s partner, Shecluded is a credit company dedicated to building a community that fosters financial education for female entrepreneurs.
