We Are Rooting For Burna Boy.
On November 20, 2019, nominations for the 62nd Grammy Awards were announced and Burna Boy’s album, African Giant got nominated in the Best World Music Album category, he was nominated alongside other Artists and we are truly rooting and hoping he brings this home.
Burna Boy joins the likes of other Nigerian acts Seun Kuti, Femi Kuti and King Sunny Ade who have been nominated in the same category. If he wins, he will be the 7th Nigerian to win a Grammy Award.

Over the years, Sikiru Adepoju, Olusegun Olumide Adeola Samuel (Seal), Helen Folasade Adu (Sade Adu), Lekan Babalola, Hakeem Seriki (Chamillionaire) and Kevin Olusola have won the Grammy Awards in different categories.
