With a career spanning more than 10 years in consulting, coaching and corporate training, Adebola Deji-Kurunmi has impacted individuals, brands, corporations and NGOs by leading numerous initiatives to achieve results. As a Learning Development Specialist, she has successfully equipped individuals and corporations across a range of sectors to develop innovative capacities, create sustainable change, enable social prosperity and create value. Focused on capacity building and development for individuals and firms, Adebola Deji-Kurunmi has developed courses, facilitated development classes and served as a consultant for different social enterprises.

Adebola Deji-Kurunmi’s educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in Estate Management from Obafemi Awolowo University and masters in Sustainable Development from SOAS University of London. Her passion for social development informed her program on Entrepreneurship and social change at the United Nations University for peace and also, Social Sector Management Program from the Pan Atlantic University, Nigeria.

Prior to founding Ideation Hub Africa, Adebola Deji-Kurunmi worked as the Head, Foundation Initiatives and Group Consultant of RegCharles Foundation, where she actively executed strategic initiatives that impacted women and youths in underserved communities. In addition, she led the Capacity Development Mandate initiative that supported entrepreneurs and professionals with relevant skills to facilitate business success, growth, and workplace performance.

Adebola Deji-Kurunmi also worked as a Learning and Organizational Development Consultant for Phillips Consulting Limited. Her role involved driving group dynamics, managing learning experiences, achieving collaborations and inducing learning through high-level facilitative styles. She also worked on consulting projects focused on talent improvement and developed contents, learning aids, business and action plans for Personal Development and Management programs under Phillips Learning Academy. 

As a change catalyst, Adebola Deji-Kurunmi founded the Immerse Coaching Company in 2014 for women in need of self-discovery, life definition and personal growth. Within 6 years, 2000 women have participated in different online courses and conferences. She has driven women and girls closer to their dreams through mentoring, coaching and leadership. In addition, she has written more than 10 books and has spoken at over 250 women conferences.

Adebola Deji-Kurunmi is currently a Youth Representative at Nigeria Economic Summit Group and volunteers for different organizations including The Enterprising Nigeria, Sesewa Support Services, Watermark Academy and HACEY’s Health Initiative. In addition, she has won several global awards and recognitions such as the Crans Montana’s New Leader for Tomorrow award in 2014 and the Queen’s Young Leaders Program UK Mentor; an award by the Queen of England to celebrate exceptional young leaders across commonwealth countries. Recognized as one of Africa’s young leaders by the United States, she is a 2018 Mandela Washington Fellow.
