Adepeju Jaiyeoba
Adepeju Jaiyeoba is the Founder of Mother’s Delivery Kit Ventures, a social enterprise that creates low cost health care options and delivery kits containing basic sterile supplies to health centers for expectant mothers in Nigeria.
Passionate about making a difference in the health of women and girls across the country, Adepeju leads her team in the production and packaging of the delivery kits which takes place at their production factory in Lagos, Nigeria.
Mother’s Delivery Kit Ventures has already built a network of nurses, midwives and birth attendants who are regularly trained on how to conduct clean, safe, and hygienic deliveries, as well as how to administer the delivery kits.

Adepeju completed a bachelor’s degree in Law from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and a master’s degree in Business and Entrepreneurship from the University of Texas, Austin. She completed other certifications from the Lagos Business School and Coady International Institute.
Adepeju is currently the Head of Chambers at Aboyade & Co, and Founder of Colourful Giggles Nutrition – a company that aims to kick out hidden hunger and ensure that every child has access to healthy, natural, quality and affordable nutritious food.
A skilled community development advocate, Adepeju participated in the 2013 Global Change Leaders programme as a Coady Institute Alumna. She was selected to take part in the prestigious 2014 Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, and she won the Unilever Young Entrepreneurship Award, HRM, the Queen of England Points of Light Award, and HRH, the Prince of Wales Young Sustainability Entrepreneur Prize where she received a €50,000 cash award.
Following her win, Adepeju enjoyed several one-to-one mentoring sessions provided by experts from Unilever and University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership for a period of 12 months.
Adepeju volunteers to speak at conferences all over the country, educating women on how to eradicate maternal mortality and improve access to quality healthcare.
