Nigeria’s Mike Adenuga follows with a net worth of $6.9 billion and the Chairman of BUA Group, Abdulsamad Rabiu, with a net worth of $5.9 billion.

Femi Otedola, the Executive Chairman of Geregu Power Plc and a non-executive director at FBN Holdings, secured the 20th position on the list with a net worth of $1.1 billion.

Forbes highlighted the positive shift in the fortunes of Africa’s wealthiest individuals over the past 12 months, indicating a reversal from the previous year’s decline, although still below their peak levels.

According to Forbes, the 20 billionaires on the 2024 Forbes list of Africa’s Richest were worth a combined $82.4 billion, reflecting a $900 million increase from last year’s $81.5 billion.

Congratulations Dangote, Adenuga, Rabiu and Otedola.
