Not many athletes have captivated and dominated the heavyweight division of boxing like Anthony Joshua. Anthony Oluwafemi Olaseni Joshua is a British-Nigerian professional boxer who is currently a two-time unified heavyweight world champion by winning three of the major four world championships.

Anthony Joshua started his secondary school education at Mayflower School in Ikenne, Ogun State and completed it at Kings Langley Secondary School, after relocating to the UK at age 12. Anthony Joshua’s love for sports was evident as a child as he excelled in football and athletics, breaking his school’s year nine 100m record within a record time of 11.6 seconds.

Joshua began his amateur boxing career at age 18. He won the Haringey Box Cup in 2009 and 2010 and the senior ABA Championships, earning him a place in the Great Britain boxing team. In 2010, he became a British Amateur Champion after defeating Amin Isa. He went on to win a silver medal at the 2011 World Amateur Boxing Championships in Azerbaijan, securing his place at the 2012 Olympics games. Although going in as a novice, Joshua emerged as the 2012 Olympic Champion.

Joshua became a professional boxer in 2013 and has gone on to win 23 of his 24 fights, with 21 of those wins coming by knockout. His victories include five world heavyweight champions (Charles Martin, Wladimir Klitschko, Joseph Parker, Alexander Povetkin and Andy Ruiz Jr.) plus 3 non-titlists who were nonetheless ranked in the global heavyweight top ten within a year of him beating them (Dillian Whyte, Carlos Takam and Dominic Breazeale). He currently holds the IBF, WBA (Super), WBO, and the 1BO world titles. He is also the second British boxer after James DeGale and first heavyweight to win both a gold medal at the Olympics and a world title by a major professional sanctioning body.

Over the course of his career, Anthony Joshua has been a recipient of numerous awards and recognition, including:
