Arit Okpo
Arit Okpo is a media specialist and host of CNN International’s African Voices Changemakers, a television programme that shines the light on African entertainers, creatives, athletes, and Africans making a difference.
Arit also produces and presents a flagship news show for Ebonylife TV – The Crunch, a news segment which discusses and analyzes positive news, current affairs, and human interest stories across Africa. In her work, she is tasked with previewing episodes before they go on air, scheduling invitations, crafting directions for upcoming shoots, recording sessions and conducting guest interviews.

Arit has hosted corporate events within and out of Nigeria, and she is an experienced panel moderator. She creates pieces that encourage discussions on a wide range of topics and she is committed to telling stories from a human perspective.
When she’s not producing content or presenting shows, she writes prose, opinion pieces and discussions on current affairs. She also functions as facilitator and event compere for a number of public functions.
Arit completed a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Calabar.
Arit was one of the judges for the first and second episodes of Nigeria Prize for Difference and Diversity held in 2021 and 2022, and was also featured in the Diversity Summit.
