Asake Signs Record Deal with American Record Label, Empire

Fast-rising Nigerian singer, Ahmed Ololade, well-known as Asake, has signed a new music deal with international record label, Empire.

This was announced by Empire on its Twitter page on Monday, 18th of July 2022.

Empire  is an American distribution company and record label founded in 2010 by Ghazi Shami. The company is associated with Nigerian singers such as Olamide, Wande Coal, Fireboy, Kizz Daniel, and  international acts such as Snoop Dogg, Tyga, Kendrick Lamar, and Fat Joe.

Asake rose to fame following the release of his hit track “Omope” in 2021. Since then, he has gone on to release a self-titled EP, The Ololade Asake – EP, shortly after signing to Olamide’s YBNL. Asake has released music sensations like Trabaye, Sungba, Palazzo, Peace Be Unto and Bandana featuring music star FireBoy DML.

The fast-rising singer is associated with popular acts in the Nigerian music industry such as Olamide Baddo, Burna Boy, FireBoy, DJ spinall and others.
