Bukky Asehinde is an innovative marketing and communications professional with over seven years of experience in community management, digital marketing, branding, and events management. She is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bellafricana, a platform that enables Nigerian business owners to gain visibility for their businesses, increase sales, and access the right support and structure that will help them grow.

As CEO, Bukky leads a team of passionate individuals to pioneer innovative marketing strategies. This has led to business expansion across 34 countries and four continents. The business, which Bukky started to bridge the gap between indigenous products and their global consumers is now being referred to as “home to creative entrepreneurs”.

Bukky also founded the African Creative Exhibition and Awards (ACE Awards) to celebrate creativity and innovation in Nigeria and Africa. She focuses on encouraging more local talents in Nigeria and Africa to look inwards, and create more globally acceptable brands. Bukky is as well co-founder of the PUSH Relief Project, a non-profit which serves some charity projects within Africa.

Bukky received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Westminster, London, and several certifications in digital marketing, creative entrepreneurship, and marketing communications from some of the top companies in the UK such as Wembley Arena and McDonalds.

In recognition of her impact in the business space, Bukky was listed as one of the 100 Most Inspiring Women in Nigeria in 2018 by the Leading Ladies Africa and was selected by Business Day in 2019 as one of the 50 most inspiring women in Nigeria. She was featured as one of the top 30 African Women Entrepreneurs and Influencers in 2021 by Business Elite Africa and was featured on Inside Watch Africa and Woman.ng. Most recently, she was named the woman of the month for Pride Magazine Nigeria and inducted as Zero Oil Ambassador for Nigeria.

Bukky devotes some of her time and resources to mentoring young and creative business owners who are passionate about growing their businesses.
