Congratulations to Dr Uchechi Iweala on Successfully Performing a Navigated Lumbar Spinal Fusion Using A Robot!
Congratulations are in order as Dr Uchechi Iweala, an Orthopaedic Surgeon and son of the World Trade Organization – Director-General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala attains a new feat in the United State’s medical space.
Dr Uchechi Iweala’s new accomplishment was disclosed by the WTO boss via her Twitter account.

The doctor is currently an Associate Partner at the Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics (CAO). He is an Orthopaedic Surgeon who specializes in spine surgery.
Uchechi Iweala obtained a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Harvard. He completed his residency training in Orthopedic Surgery at George Washington University and a fellowship in Spine Surgery at New York University.
The doctor’s area of expertise includes Robotic Spine Surgery, Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery, Cervical, and Lumbar Disc Replacement, Spinal Fusion/Arthrodesis, Nerve Releases, Spinal Injections, Spinal Deformity, Spinal Stenosis, Degenerative Disc Disease, Spondylolisthesis, and Trauma and Fracture Care.
He is a member of the Lumbar Spine Research Society, North American Spine Society, and American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
