Dr. Babajide Milton Macaulay
Dr. Babajide Milton Macaulay is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Illumania, an online education consultancy that provides academic support to students, graduates and business professionals. Some of the supports provided include dissertation reviews, CV reviews, career counseling and scholarship application guidance.
A two-time Royal Commonwealth Society (RSC) Judge, and a Commonwealth Scholar, Dr. Babajide has worked to help many youths in Nigeria achieve their academic dreams. Through Illumania, founded in 2018, he has assisted at least ten Commonwealth scholars, seven Erasmus Mundus scholar and several winners of different scholarships in Africa.

The scholarship application guidance sector of Illumania is the most sought after service, and has produced a total of 96 scholarship winners (a success rate of 70%) and attracted over 5 million USD in scholarship benefits.
Dr. Babajide is also a co-founder of Wadi, an online platform that connects African researchers to the resources they need such as equipment, training, community support and funding in order to drive local innovation and development.
Dr. Babajide completed a bachelor’s degree (B.Tech.) in Biology from the Federal University of Technology Akure, a master’s degree in Sustainable Environmental Management from the University of Greenwich and a Doctorate in Environmental Geochemistry and Geomicrobiology from the University of Manchester.
Dr. Babajide is currently a lecturer of Environmental Biology and Public Health at the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria. He is passionate about empowering the younger generation to become assets to themselves and the society.
Dr. Babajide’s passion and dedication has been recognized by the National Association of Biology Students (FUTA Chapter) with the ‘Best Lecturer/Most Supportive Lecturer Award’ three times.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Commonwealth Society, General Secretary of the Drug Free Club (Bunza zone), and has volunteered with the British Council and University of Greenwich.
