Enoh Titilayo Ebong, the Acting Director of US Trade and Development Agency
Enoh Titilayo Ebong, the recently appointed Acting Director of the United States Trade and Development Agency, USTDA is our WCW. The appointment marks her return to the USTDA, where she previously served in various capacities for 15 years, 2004 – 2019. Most recently, she was the agency’s General Counsel, Deputy Director and Chief Operating Officer.
Prior to her appointment, she was Head of Strategic Partnerships at Milken Centre for Advancing the American Dream, a role she assumed in January 2020. Enoh was also Principal at the Ikoyi Advisory Services LLC, where she provided consulting services, policy advice, and subject matter expertise to mission-focused organizations on a range of operational issues.

On her appointment, Enoh said,
“It is an honour to return to USTDA. The opportunity to lead the agency comes at a critical moment when the world is turning to the United States for leadership on clean energy and climate-smart infrastructure, as well as safe and secure ICT solutions. I’ve long believed in USTDA’s mission and program, which are fully aligned with the President’s vision of strengthening the country’s economy and addressing climate as an essential component of American foreign policy and national security.”
Enoh is recognized for leading and advancing international public-private partnerships as the former Deputy Director and Chief Operating Officer of the USTDA. During her previous tenure with the USTDA, Enoh partnered with the agency’s Director on all major decisions affecting programs, policies, operations and talent management.
Enoh is not the first Nigerian to be appointed by the US president. Joe Biden had previously appointed three others including Adewale Adeyemo as Deputy Secretary of the Treasury Department, Funmi Olorunnipa Badejo as White House Counsel and Okolo Osaremen as a member of the COVID-19 Response Team.
She has volunteered on the board of several organizations including Lawyers of Colour, Artolution, Atlas Service Corps, Friends of the National Zoo, and the Washington Foreign Law Society. She is a member of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Bar.
