Facebook Launches ₦500m Grants Program to over 700 eligible Nigerian Small Businesses
Facebook recently announced a ₦500m grant to support 781 small businesses in Nigeria, as part of its $100m Global Grants Program announced earlier this year. The program aims to support 30,000 small businesses in over 30 countries to stimulate economic recovery following the effects of COVID-19. This
program is expected to support and extend a lifeline to local small business owners who have been most affected.
Facebook Launches ₦500m Grants Program to over 700 eligible Nigerian Small Businesses. The grants will be administered and managed by Deloitte in partnership with FATE Foundation and Afrigrants. It will be provided as a combination of cash and ad credits to help small businesses as they rebuild, re-engineer, and recover operations during this challenging year.

Application Process in Nigeria:
Application will start from August 24, 2020, for the North East, North West, and Southeast regions and August 26, 2020, for the South West, South-South, and North Central regions.
Business eligibility criteria:
Business must;
Have between 2 and 50 employees
Have been in operation for over a year
Have experienced challenges due to COVID-1
Be in or near a location where Facebook operates

Business registration/business license
Partnership Agreement (if applicable to your business)
2019 financial statements (PDF format)
