Folasade Adefisayo
Folasade Adefisayo is the Principal Consultant/Chief Executive Officer of Leading Learning Limited, an educational consultancy firm in Nigeria that specializes in consulting for private schools, state governments, NGOs, and development partners.
An education activist with a passion for student learning, school transformation and teacher training, Folasade is deeply concerned about the learning crisis in Nigeria schools and has volunteered to work with the Federal Government, Lagos State Government, Oyo State Government and Osun State Government.
With nearly 40 years working experience spanning organizational restructuring, human resources management, and education, Folasade has brought passion, integrity, and an entrepreneurial spirit into the education sector.
Folasade’s areas of professional focus include teachers training, leadership training, school set-up and schools’ transformation.

Folasade completed a bachelor’s degree in Zoology from the University of Ibadan, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Lagos, and a master’s degree in Education from the University of Nottingham.
Before Leading Learning, Folasade served as the Executive Director of Corona Schools, and was a member of their Trust Council for over eight years. She also voluntarily served as the Director of Corona Secondary School, Agbara from 2010 to 2014.
Folasade also serves as the Honourable Commissioner for Education in Lagos State, Nigeria, where she uses her wealth of experience in supporting the Governor of the State, His Excellency Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu in revolutionizing education in many uncommon ways.
Folasade is dedicated to improving other peoples’ lives and has served as a volunteer with a number of not-for profit organizations including Federal Nigeria Society for the Blind, Volunteer Corps, Junior Achievement, Fate Foundation, Yedi, Teach for Nigeria, Oando Foundation, SWORTE Talks among others.
Folasade is a Merit Award winner of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and a University Scholar of the University of Ibadan, Nigeria.
