Gloria Kasang Bulus
Climate change activists create constant awareness on environmental sustainability, the impact of global warming, and how modified behaviors can reduce the effects of climate change on our world. Environmental sustainability is important for many reasons including clean air, natural resources, and a nontoxic environment which are all essential for healthy communities.
Gloria Kasang Bulus recently received the Alfredo Sirkis Memorial Green Ring Award for outstanding climate reality leaders. She is the first African to receive this award. The award honors Climate Reality Leaders who have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to their roles as climate communicators and activists.

Gloria Kasang Bulus is a climate change leader, an advocate for education, women, children & persons with disabilities. She holds a BSC in Environmental Science from the National Open University, Nigeria, a PGD in Geographic Information System and a Master’s degree from Bayero University, Kano in Natural Resource Management and Climate Change. In 2017, she trained as a Climate Reality Leader in Washington, the U.S under the tutelage of former Vice President of America, Al Gore.
Gloria is also the program director for YALI Face2face, Kaduna (Young African Leadership Initiative). YALI was established in 2010 to support young African leaders as they spur growth and prosperity, strengthen democratic governance, and enhance peace and security across sub -Saharan Africa.
Gloria has volunteered online and on the ground with several organizations such as the Nigerian Red Cross, Twenty-first Century African Youth Movement Sierra Leone as a Moderator/social Media Analyst, Team 54 project as an ambassador/Lagos coordinator, UNICEF as a Health Camp Supervisor and the World Health Organization.
Gloria is a trailblazer and we are proud of her.
