Business Interview With the CEO, Christ In Vogue
Why did you decide to be an entrepreneur?
At the time I began planning for my first business, I remember feeling some kind of itch like I had to start a business. And so when the idea for CHRIST-IN-VOGUE dropped, I knew that was it!
What inspired the idea of the “Christ In Vogue” brand and when did you start your initiative?
Anytime I saw someone wear a statement t-shirt, I’d be so intrigued and would want to read whatever was written on it, they captivated me so much. And so one day, I wondered “Since these t-shirts attract so much attention, why don’t I start something that can catch people’s attention for Jesus Christ instead?” And that’s how CIV was birthed. We started in 2019 and since then, our product inventory has grown to four products, to the glory of God.
What motivates you and what are the principles that guide your business?
My motivation is Christ and the love I have for the body of Christ basically. I mean, I get to solve problems for Christians and make their lives better while also making mine better? I also get to spread light through my t-shirts and sweatshirts. That’s enough motivation for me.
The principles guiding my business are God-principles; Integrity, originality, honesty, excellence, etc. It’s evident.
In your industry, what makes you unique?
Most of the brands like mine, only sell t-shirts, or at most, t-shirts and journals. But CIV is like an all-encompassing brand, solving problems for the millenial and Gen-Z Christian, majorly. And our approach to the market is different, unlike other brands.
What has been your greatest entrepreneurial success?
I’d say launching the CHRIST-IN-VOGUE journals, widened our client base. And for me as a person, would be starting my coaching business for entrepreneurs.

What is your favorite aspect of being an entrepreneur?
I’d say the psychology behind selling and getting people to buy from you. I love it, lol. Also seeing people very happy when they get their goods and most importantly, how it makes their lives better.
What is the most challenging of being an entrepreneur?
Constant change in cost of production.
