Jennifer Uchendu
Jennifer Uchendu is the founder of SustyVibes, a social enterprise aimed at making sustainability actionable and relatable to young people. Since its inception, SustyVibes has produced outstanding results. From organizing Susty Parties and Susty Schools campaigns, Jennifer has trained over 350 school children on the Sustainable Development Goals, while also engaging in projects that promote African Ecotourism.
Jennifer’s SustyVibes also has an online platform where readers can access news and trends on sustainability from Nigeria and Africa.

Before SustyVibes, Jennifer was a Sustainability Analyst at Hybrid Greenergies Consulting Limited, and Head of Sustainability at The Heineken Company. In both roles, she worked on National Advocacy and Awareness of Energy Efficiency, Conservation, and Application of Green technologies.
Jennifer received a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Covenant University, and other certifications in Sustainable Leadership from the University of Cambridge, the Lagos Business School, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and the Institute of Development Studies.
Jennifer believes that women have a vital role to play in ensuring sustainable development in Nigeria. As a result, she works efficiently to ensure that young girls are empowered through education.
Jennifer volunteers at the Lagos State Office of Research and Development, GIVO Solutions, and ONCA to work on climate change and emotional well-being. She has published an ebook titled “A guide to Business Sustainability in Nigeria”.
