Kehinde Akande-Akangbe is a Transformational Human Resources professional and Founder of HR Girlfriends Tribe (HRGT), a community dedicated to enabling the growth and development of women across four broad areas of impacts which includes – learning, leisure, network, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs.
Driven by the mission to empower women to become career successful and well-developed, Kehinde founded four inspiring social impact enterprises and growth-driven initiatives to serve as a foundation for her goals. Asides the HR Girlfriends Tribe which empowers women by providing a resourceful platform for them to learn and network, Kehinde also founded TalentSquad Skills Hub, a youth empowerment initiative focused on leveraging creative technology to limit the impact of unemployment amongst Nigerian youths. Through this platform, Kehinde engages the youths by teaching various HR software to HR enthusiasts and professionals.
Also, via her educative platform, Moments That Matter with Kehinde, progressive conversations are held with job seekers, professionals, employees, startup owners and people from diverse areas, in order to bridge the expectation gaps, enable mutual understanding among industry power players and improve the employment experience of workers. Inclusively, her Voice for Growth platform further fosters relevant discussions on leadership development for both personal and professional success.

Kehinde’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the University of Ibadan, a course on Advocacy from Philanthropy University and a Diploma in Human Resources from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, Nigeria. Additionally, Kehinde holds several certifications across areas of Brand Management, Human Resources, Customer Service and Management to her merit.
With over 10 years’ experience across Retail, Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), IT, HR Consulting, Marketing, Telecoms, Construction and Development sectors, Kehinde has built strong expertise on Budget Planning and Control, Talent Development and Performance, Organisation Design and Redesign, Brand and Culture Alignment as well as Strategic Policy Formulation.
Kehinde is a growth catalyst who has helped several organizations to build great brands through unique people solutions that attract and retain talents, resulting in huge business impacts. Additionally, she implements and evaluates personalized sustainable CSR initiatives that have led to an improved brand relationship.
She has contributed significantly as Head Human Resource/Executive for organisations like Sparkles Products and Services, Ruff ‘n’ Tumble, Simplex Business Solutions Limited and CentrespreadGrey. She is currently Managing Partner, Noviastam Consult and Principal Consultant at Body Confidence Zone. Kehinde’s passion for human development has led her to volunteer for organisations like LearnHR Consulting and Knowledge Exchange Centre.
