Kunle Afolayan Confirms ‘Anikulapo’ the series
Award-winning Nigerian producer and director, Kunle Afolayan has announced that the much awaited “Anikulapo” series is in the works. The talented producer made this known through a teaser video on his official Instagram page.
“It is official that the Anikulapo series is happening,” Kunle Afolayan captioned the post.

“Anikulapo” follows the story of Saro, a man who leaves his birthplace in quest of a better life, only to find himself caught up in a perilous love affair with the queen. As things get out of hand, Saro unexpectedly dies and is revived by the fabled bird Akala, which has the ability to both give and take life.
The film features a talented cast including Hakeem Kae-Kazim, Kunle Remi, Bimbo Ademoye, Sola Sobowale, Taiwo Hassan, and more.
