Lanre Olusola

Lanre Olusola, also known as ‘The Catalyst’, is an Executive & Behavioural Change Coach who believes that lives can be transformed from the mind. Olusola is credited with pioneering the life coaching industry in Nigeria, formulating Integrative Transformative Catalysis (ITC) and creating the first wholly integrative coaching academy in West Africa – Olusola Lanre Coaching Academy (OLCA), which he started in 2004. He has gained 360-degree experience through working with government agencies, companies, individuals and non-profits.

The Catalyst created the ESP and VSP 5-star performance models which have been used globally to alter complex behavioural, traditional and cultural codes, programs and paradigms; one of the many beneficiaries being the Stanford University’s Affiliate Faculty (The Institute for Venture Designs).

The Catalyst completed a bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering and Project Management from the University of Lagos, a master’s in Coaching and Behavioral Change Psychology from Henley Business School, and a Doctor of Coaching and Mentoring from Oxford Brookes University.

With over 20 years of coaching experience, The Catalyst is a Certified General Electric (GE) Executive Coaching Master Trainer and a GE Regional Croton Ville Executive coaching faculty member. His advanced studies in Psychology, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Quantum Physics has led him to become an AAMET U.K. Certified Matrix Reimprinting Practitioner and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Therapist.

The coach recently launched eight e-books via a virtual meet. The eBooks address critical areas including Health and wellness, mental health, career and business growth, relationships, positive affirmations, and spirituality. The books, “The Morning Commander”, “Catalyst Quote Book”, “The Power of Daily Affirmations”, “Good to Better”, “Grace Prayers”, “Psalmic Prayers”, “Names of God” and “Affirmative Prayers” are available globally on Amazon and other bookstores online. 

Also, two universities of international repute recently conferred him with honorary doctorate degrees in recognition of his outstanding work in human and organizational development. First, he received an Honorary Doctoral Degree in Behavioural Change Psychology from Escae Benin University and later, a Doctor of Humane Letters, Honoris Causa from the Myles Leadership University.

These worthy accolades were in recognition of his immense contributions to the human capital and capacity development industry, as well as his long-standing contribution in the areas of youth development, coaching, behavioural change development, business development, leadership, and philanthropy.

The catalyst continues to leave lasting footprints in the African coaching and mentoring industry. He has trained, certified, and mentored over 1,000 coaches and has facilitated the transformation of individuals, organisations, families, groups, and governments into maximizing theiir unique potentials.

Currently, he is Chief Catalyst at Olusola Lanre Coaching Academy (OLCA). Before this, he founded Life Coaches Association of Nigeria (LCAN). He serves as an Executive Director at Ebony Life Television, Board of Trustee member at the International Coach Federation (ICF) Nigeria and is an official member of the Forbes Coaches Council.
