Mr Eazi’s Singles Certified Silver in the UK!
Popular Nigerian musician and pioneer of Banku music, Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly called Mr Eazi is certified in the UK. Mr Eazi’s singles “Leg Over”, “Decline” and “Operator” are now certified silver in the United Kingdom, after successfully selling over 1.4 million units.
Excited, he shared a photo of the three silver plaques with fans via a tweet on his official twitter account.
In another, post, Mr Eazi sent a shout out to DJ Edu for playing one of the singles, “Leg Over” on his BBC Radio 1Xtra show, applauding his decision to air the single on his international radio show.
Mr Eazi has had quite a progressive career in the music industry. In 2013, he released his 13-track debut mixtape “About to Blow”, which The Fader magazine described as a “heavily dancehall-leaning SoundCloud playlist.”

The banku and afrobeats singer has received several accolades from fans alongside bagging awards and nominations to his credit.
He received a Special Recognition Award in 2016 for his music video, “Skin Tight” featuring Efya as well as won the Best New Artiste at the 2016 WatsUp TV Africa Music Awards, also in 2016. Mr Eazi was also Next Rated at the 2016 Headies Award and won the Most Promising Act to Watch at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
