Oluwatoyin Ajilore-Chukwuemeka
Oluwatoyin Ajilore-Chukwuemeka is a social entrepreneur and non profit leader who has created overarching strategies and institutional roadmaps, designed programs and projects, managed teams and partners in the convergence of education, entrepreneurship, policy and development.
Oluwatoyin is the Founder of Oak Nation Entrepreneurial (ONE) Foundation, an organization that strengthens MSMEs through enterprise incubation in the form of entrepreneurial education, mentoring, equipping community and micro-financing.
ONE Foundation has worked with over 1500 micro and small-scale entrepreneurs since May 2018; equipping , educating and mentoring entrepreneurs across African countries including Nigeria and Liberia.

As an education professional, Oluwatoyin has taught over 1000 university students, led professional development sessions for teachers across multiple countries, and worked on education policy appraisals that inform decision making for university administrators and governments.
As a business development expert, Oluwatoyin has led and facilitated over 30 sessions both online and onsite on entrepreneurial themes including Design Thinking, Business Strategy, Business Model Generation, Business Leadership, Product Development etc. She also provides consultancies for startups solving social problems in Africa.
Oluwatoyin believes she is a bridge that connects Africa’s future as an emerging economy to the necessary human capital to steer this future. She is constantly engaging youths across multiple African countries in developmental work in terms of training, mentoring and teaching with the goal of growing their capacity to lead the sustainable development of Africa, especially in light of the African Agenda 2063, “The Africa We want”.
Oluwatoyin completed a bachelor’s degree in Geology /Earth Science and a master’s degree in Mineral Exploration both from the University of Ibadan. She has various other certifications on leadership and Business Management from Lagos Business School, Tekedia Institute, University of Delaware, University of Washington, and she is currently a doctorate student at Tufts University.
Oluwatoyin leads multiple mentorship platforms including her annual mentoring program, ROADMAP, a digital mailing community where she regularly mentors hundreds of young people on personal and professional development. She believes anyone can unleash the greatness within them when equipped with the right mindsets, exposure and resources.
Oluwatoyin is a Lecturer and Researcher at the University of Ibadan where she utilizes modern pedagogical techniques to raise students to be leaders needed in the 21st century. She also equips teachers on how to be problem solvers in the education sectors. Her research interest lies around the themes of science education and education research.
Oluwatoyin is a 2019 AWEC fellow and she was also recognized as a Young African Leader by the United States Government for the Mandela Washington Fellowship in 2021.
