Tosin Faniro-Dada

Tosin Faniro-Dada is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Endeavor Nigeria. Endeavor is a global entrepreneurship network that selects, mentors and accelerates the best high-impact entrepreneurs in Africa, supporting them to scale their companies and increase impacts for the benefit of their local ecosystems and the economy at large. Tosin Faniro-Dada is driven by a passion to support entrepreneurs and help them scale beyond the impact of Endeavor to a broader society and economy. In line with this, she has worked with several entrepreneurs in various life-cycle stages, bringing innovative solutions and resources to help them thrive in their space.

Tosin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth and a Master of Science degree in Accounting from Boston College, Massachusetts. She is currently taking an Advanced Management and Advanced Leadership program at INSEAD. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Massachusetts, USA.

Prior to joining Endeavor Nigeria, Tosin served in various leadership capacities at the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) from November 2016 to February 2021. Recently, she was Director, Programmes and Coordination at the LSETF, where she contributed significantly to the strategic execution of various programmes associated with the goal of the organization. Under her leadership as Director, she led the Fund’s intervention programs; providing access to finance for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), facilitated training and job placements for youths as well as supported young entrepreneurs in Lagos State under the Lagos Innovates program.

Before the LSETF, Tosin was a Senior Banking Officer – Corporate Banking Group (Oil and Gas Upstream) at the defunct Skye Bank Plc, from January 2014 to September 2016. At Skye Bank, she was responsible for managing relationships with the bank’s Upstream corporate borrowers and evaluating exploratory transactions. She was also Investment Professional at Asset and Resource Management Holding Company (ARM HoldCo), from December 2010 to December 2013. There, she was vested with the responsibility of sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities in the hospital and retail sector, managing existing assets and raising funds. 

Tosin has volunteered in various organizations as a mentor, including MEST Africa, Founder Institute, and Resplash Academy amongst others.

In recognition of her excellence and professionalism, she has received several awards and recognitions including being listed among Leading Ladies Africa’s 50 Leading Ladies in Corporate Nigeria in May 2020, Tech Cabal’s Tech Women Lagos in March 2019, and YNaija Powerlist 2018 for Technology.

Tosin Faniro-Dada is a force to reckon with and we are rooting for her.
