With forthcoming debut solo art exhibition, 2-year-old Oluwadarimisire Adejuwon Adewale wants to donate part of his earnings to children in LUTH
At age two, Oluwadarimisire Adejuwon Adewale joins the impressive list of young artists in the world. Adejuwon’s debut solo art exhibition titled, ‘Table to Tablet: Symphonies From My HeART’, features 40 digital arts selected from his over 70 art pieces. The exhibition is set for the 5th of December 2021 at KUNSTMATRIX 3D Virtual Art Gallery Space, 5:00 pm WAT. The two-year-old intends to donate part of his earnings from the exhibition to children in paediatric and oncology at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH).
Art lovers and enthusiasts from around the world are welcome to join little Adejuwon virtually during the exhibition opening on the 5th of December. This exhibition will mark his first solo art show and his 2nd birthday.
The exhibition, “Table to Tablet: Symphonies From My HeART’, is curated by Oyindamola Fakeye, an Art Consultant with the British Council, Nigeria, and Director for Center for Contemporary Arts alongside Kunle Adewale, Founder, Arts in Medicine Projects.
The Art Exhibition is supported by the Society of Child Artists, Nigeria and Arts in Medicine Projects.
Adejuwon was born on 5th December 2019. His father, Kunle Adewale, is a Nigerian international artist and his mother, an entrepreneur. Adejuwon, who’s passionate about colours and music started the journey of his art by scribbling with pens and wax crayons on tables, sketchpads, walls, floors and sheets of paper when he was just 15 months old. Adejuwon’s father Kunle, immediately started nurturing his interest by introducing him to digital arts and teaching him how to use applications on iPad.
Today, Adejuwon boasts of a portfolio with over 70 artworks, out of which he will be exhibiting the selected 40 pieces come December.
Some of his works have already been bought in the United States, the United Kingdom and Nigeria. He also has a few of his works on NFT’s platform for digital arts like Opensea and VoiceHq.
Oluwadarimisire is the world’s youngest artist to have his works hosted on these platforms.
