Wole Oshin
Wole Oshin is the Founder and Group Managing Director of the Custodian Group, a leading Insurance group in Sub Saharan Africa with interests in Life Insurance, General Insurance, Pensions and Trusteeship business.
Established in 1995, Custodian Group has grown to have several subsidiaries including Custodian and Allied Insurance Limited, Custodian Life Assurance Limited, Custodian Trustees Limited and Crusader Sterling Pensions Limited.
An industry leader with over thirty years of experience, Wole is a firm believer in the building and transformation of the economy through the development of insurance and risk management.
Wole completed a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Lagos, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Ibadan and a Doctor of Finance (Honoris Causa) from Igbinedion University.

Wole is a Fellow of both the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria and the Association of Investment Advisers and Portfolio Managers. He is the immediate past President of Lagos Business School Alumni Association (LBSAA), as well as an alumnus of the Harvard Business School (OPM42).
Before Custodian, Wole served as a member of the Presidential Committee on Pension Reforms, Chairman of the Nigerian Insurers Association, Executive Council Member – African Insurance Organization (Cameroun), Council Member of the West African Insurance Companies Association (Ghana), and External Lecturer – West African Insurance Institute, Banjul, The Gambia.
Wole sits on several boards amongst which is the International Insurance Society (IIS), New York.
He was recently awarded one of the top 25 CEOs on the Nigeria Stock Exchange by the influential Business Day newspaper as well as a nominee for “African CEO of the Year” by African Reinsurance Corporation.
