Omomene Odike is the Chief Executive Officer and Principal Consultant of U-Connect, a staffing and recruitment company that provides human resource solutions to businesses across various sectors, which is known for its innovative approaches to staffing and recruitment, which have transformed the industry in Nigeria.
Omomene leads a team of highly professional HR consultants with a vision to grow U-Connect into one of the leading HR consulting companies in Sub- Saharan Africa. She is credited with introducing innovative and proactive solutions in Recruitment and Outsourcing, Training and Development, Verification & Background Checks, Pre-Assessment Testing as well as Quality Management Strategies to clients; all which have helped to position the U-Connect brand as a trailblazer in the Human Resource consulting industry.

Since inception, U-Connect has maintained a steady annual growth rate of over 500% in revenue, and has become one of the fastest growing Limited Liability Companies in Nigeria.
Omomene completed a bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Benin and was called to the bar at the Nigerian Law School. She also has certifications in Owner Manager Programme (OMP) from the Lagos Business School and in Quality Management (ISO 9001-2000-Quality Management Systems) from Standard Organisation of Nigeria (SON).
Omomene is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), Member of Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), as well as an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (ACIPM).
In addition to her business ventures, Omomene is also committed to giving back to the community. She is the founder of the Omomene Odike Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides scholarships and educational support to underprivileged children in Nigeria. She is also a member of several professional organizations, including the Nigerian Society for Human Resource Management and the International Women’s Society.
Omomene and her team managed the Recruitment and Outsourcing, Selection, Training of over 9,500 employees, to staff transition/management strategies spanning across different industries such as the Telecoms, Banking, FMCG, Oil and Gas, Insurance, Manufacturing and Distribution, HMO, Internet Service Provider (ISP) and other Service providers. She serves as a board member in Outcess Solution , Nigeria’s foremost BPO, Contact Centre Technology and Customer Relationship Management Company.
Omomene’s innovative approaches to recruitment have been recognized both locally and internationally. She has won several awards for her contributions to the industry, including the 2018 Outstanding Female Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the African Achievers Awards, and the 2019 Businesswoman of the Year Award from the African Leadership Magazine.
