Blessing  Abeng is Co-founder and Director of Communications at Ingressive for Good, a platform created to address the inequities that exist within African tech ecosystems. At Ingressive, Blessing Abeng drives the mission of the non-profit to create and increase the earning power of one million African youth through tech training and resources for the growth of the African startup ecosystems. 

Blessing Abeng is also a branding and communications expert focused on helping brands discover their unique identity and communicate them by telling their stories. She builds brand and communication strategies around tech products, services, growth, and sales to help brands communicate with their team, target audience, partners, and investors. 

Previously, Blessing was the Chief Marketing Officer and Cofounder of Disha, a digital technology company acquired by Flutterwave in 2021. Blessing’s skills and clear vision makes her a valuable ecosystem leader and this has led her to take up highly valuable and inspiring positions.

Blessing holds a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Covenant University, Ogun State, Nigeria and other certifications in Brand Management.

An expert in her field, Blessing has worked with top brands across industries in unique capacities, nationally and globally. Some of them include Facebook, Taeillo, Diageo, Heritage Bank, African Alliance, Dark and Lovely (Nigeria and Africa), Bolt, GSK, Lights Camera Africa, Lemi Ghariokwu, Victor Ehikhamenor, Angels and Muse, QuickCheck and so many others. She has also mentored youths in communities such as She Leads Africa, Seedstars, African Entrepreneurship Awards, amongst others. 

Blessing has trained over 5000 creators in branding, communications, marketing and business. She currently leads and nurtures a growing community of over 40,000 individuals inspired by her strides and interested in learning more about branding, communications and business growth. She is a columnist for top sites like BusinessDay and Connect Nigeria.

For her contributions to youth and brand development, Blessing was named as one of the 100 most powerful youths in Nigeria by Ynaija and was nominated in the creative sector of the United Nation’s Most Influential Person of African Descent.
