Bole Festival
Bole is a roasted plantain dish native to the Yoruba people of Western Nigeria. Bole could be prepared and served in various creative ways. In the west, it is served with pepper sauce, palm oil and groundnut while in places like Port Harcourt and Bayelsa, it is served with roasted fish, yam, potato, or pepper sauce. In Akwa Ibom, bole is complemented with roasted chicken and pepper sauce.
