Bunmi Banjo is a technology leadership and future of work speaker and adviser. She is also the Chief Executive Officer of Kuvora Digital, a digital transformation and workforce skilling platform founded in 2018 to cater for growing businesses.

For over 20 years, Bunmi Banjo has helped leading organizations in Africa, North America, and Asia achieve significant results through dynamic ideas and strategic execution. 

Before Kuvora Digital, Bunmi Banjo was responsible for Google’s Brand and Reputation in Africa where she led the company’s effort to provide digital skills to millions of youths across the continent. Additionally, she led initiatives in technology adoption and user research and engagement for a wide range of products including Google Search, Google+, Gmail, and YouTube.  She also helped individuals and organizations to create economic opportunity through technology, and prepared entrepreneurs, corporations, and SMEs for the future of work.   

Bunmi’s earliest career work included leadership roles across financial services, oil and gas, NGO and public sector organizations in diverse functions at Discover Financial Services, Chevron Corporation, and TD Canada Trust.

Bunmi received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 2000 from The University of Toronto and a Master of Business Administration in 2007 from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.

Bunmi has been mentioned and featured by top media outlets including CNN, Al Jazeera network, CNBC Africa, Financial Times, This Day, The Punch, and The Guardian (Nigeria) newspapers. She is listed as one of the co-founders and Chief Marketing Officer of Fezah, an entertainment booking platform.

Bunmi’s recent speaking engagements include the 2019 World Science Forum’s session on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence, the UNESCO debate on the future of technology, Zeppelin University Conference on Transcultural Leadership, the IFC conference on the Future of Work and SME digitization program at the World Economic Forum on Africa.

Bunmi is a member of the CEDS advisory board.
