Challengers and Builders Nominated for the 16^th Edition of The Future Awards Africa -TFAA

Nominees for the 16^th edition of The Future Awards Africa have been announced. This year’s awards themed “Celebrating Challengers and Builders” will spotlight trailblazers that have chosen to defy the status quo and change the narrative in their various fields within the past year.

The Future Awards Africa (TFAA) conceived in 2004 by Chude Jideonwo and Adebola Williams, are a set of awards given by The Future Project (TFP), a social enterprise set up with a strong, practical commitment to human and capital development, especially in Africa. The Future Project is the largest home-grown network of policy-makers, business people, and other stakeholders in Young Africa.

The awards celebrate young people between the ages of 18 and 31, who have made outstanding achievements in the year under consideration. 

This year, Tunde Onakoya (Founder, Chess in Slums), Jerry Mallo, ( Design Engineer and Founder, Bennie Agro Limited), Taaooma (skit maker), Tems (singer), Buju (singer) and more are nominees. Past winners of TFAA include Rema, Damilola Odufuwa, Jide-Kene Achufusi, Chioma Nwosu, Sam Adeyemi, Seun Fakorede and others.

This Edition will hold on 20^th February 2022, at the Federal Palace Hotel. The event will be hosted by Simi Drey.
