Dayo Ademola, the recently appointed Managing Director of Branch International, Nigeria is our WCW. Branch International is the leading fintech company that delivers world-class financial services across the world.
Dayo Ademola joins Branch International as a vast leader, with experience spanning 15 years across global companies including MainOne, Rosetta Stone, USA and commercial bank, Union Bank of Nigeria.
In her new role, she will lead the Branch team to provide value and satisfaction through quality modern financial services. Dayo brings in previous experience in the financial services and technology sector on board, drawing largely from operational excellence in innovation, customer segmentation, strategic marketing, business performance management, product positioning and development as well as business strategy.
Prior to Branch International, Dayo was Head of Innovation at Enhancing Financial Innovation and Access (EFInA), a financial sector development organization promoting financial inclusion in Nigeria, and funded by the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. During her tenure, (December 2018- February 2021) she handled the administration of the organization’s multi-million-dollar Innovation Fund, funding licensed financial services providers, startups and growth-stage fintech companies, with the sole aim of boosting financial inclusion in Nigeria.

Dayo also served across various leadership roles at Union Bank of Nigeria Plc., from March 2014 to November 2018. Most recently, she was Head, Corporate Planning and Investor Relations of the institution.
Dayo Ademola is passionate about leveraging technology and capital to deepen access to financial services and wealth for Africans at all levels. Her goal is to help build successful and profitable business models that will help solve the challenges bothering around financial inclusion.
