Dr. Suleyman Abdu Ndanusa

Dr. Suleyman Abdu Ndanusa is a Banker, Lawyer, an Economist, a Certified National Accountant, Stockbroker, Administrator and Chartered Secretary. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Global Mandate Consulting Limited, a multidisciplinary consulting firm providing services in corporate governance, risk management, economic research, the financial services sector, and advisory on policy formulation.

A versatile and inspiring leader, Dr. Suleyman specializes in adding value to people and organizations. He is a Fellow of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN), and an Honorary Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN). 

Dr. Suleyman completed a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, a Master of Business Administration from the same University, an LLB in Law from University of Lagos and was called to bar in 2003. He is also a graduate of the prestigious Advance Management programme (AMP) of Harvard Business School USA and the Advanced Leadership Programme (ALP) from Judge Business School, Cambridge University, UK. He is a holder of Ph.D. MGMT (Corporate Governance) from the University of San Juan, and also a holder of Ph.D. in Security and Strategy from Nasarawa State University.

With over 30 years of experience Dr. Suleyman previously served as the Managing Director of Spring Bank, Lead Consultant in the Central Bank of Nigeria Consolidation Monitoring Team, Board Chairman of Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Nigeria. He was the Chairman/ProChancellor of IBB University Lapai in Niger State.

Dr. Suleyman served as Special Assistant to the Honourable Minister of Commerce in 1999, he is a recipient of the National Honour “Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON)”. He served as a Council Member, Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission; Member, Technical Committee on Privatisation (BPE); National Pensions Reforms Steering Committee. 

Dr. Suleyman previously served on the Board of Directors of various corporations such as UAC Plc, Penman Pensions Ltd, and Surburban Telecoms. 

Dr. Suleyman was the President/Chairman of Council of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN). He also served as a co-opted member of the Council of the Institute, a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Stockbroker, a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (UK and Nigeria), and a fellow of the Institute of Directors.
