Join the Teach for Nigeria Fellowship Program
The Teach for Nigeria Fellowship Program is a 2-year full-time paid commitment designed to build a movement of leaders who will work towards eliminating educational inequality in Nigeria. The fellowship presents an opportunity for Nigeria’s brightest and most promising individuals to serve as full-time teachers to students from underserved communities in some of the country’s most under-resourced schools.
Teach for Nigeria invites exceptional university graduates and outstanding young professionals to apply for its two-year full-time paid Fellowship program.
As a Fellow, you will set targets and work towards ambitious goals that will place your students on a different life path. Apart from developing your leadership skills, the experience will help you to develop an awareness of the wider issues relating to educational inequality and deepen your understanding of potential solutions.
Through the two years, Fellows receive ongoing support through a combination of in-person training sessions, leadership forums and online training courses and resources. Additionally, Teach for Nigeria builds partnership with key public and private sector entities in order to develop pathways to accelerate alumni leadership in critical areas.
Following the two-year program, Fellows will be supported to use the skills and knowledge gained to advocate for and lead educational reform in whichever path they choose.

To be considered a Teach for Nigeria Fellow, you must have the following requirements:
* A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
* A minimum of second class (upper division)
* Must have completed NYSC
* Must be a Nigerian citizen
* Not more than 35 years old at the time of application.
The Teach for Nigeria Fellowship Program is a highly selective program attracting applications from leaders and graduates from the best universities across the world. Through the 3-staged process – Application Form, Online Test and Assessment Center, candidates with the highest potentials are selected.
