Afrofusion singer and songwriter, Sulaimon Shekoni Solomon, well known as Khaid, is the latest addition to Apple Music’s Up Next program. Apple Music announced Khaid as its latest featured artist in its Up Next emerging artist program in Nigeria on Wednesday, June 22.

Nigerian-Canadian Poet, Tolu Oloruntoba, Wins the Prestigious $65,000 Griffin Poetry Prize
A Nigerian-Canadian writer and poet, Tolu Oloruntoba, won the 2022 Griffin Poetry Prize for his collection, “The Junta of Happenstance.” The Griffin Poetry Prize is based in Canada and was founded by businessman and philanthropist, Scott Griffin, in 2000.
A brilliant Nigerian teenager, Rotimi Kukoyi has been accepted into 15 universities, and has been awarded more than $2 million in scholarships, which equals to N830 million.
