Seyi Oluyole
Seyi Oluyole is the Founder and Executive Director of Dream Catchers Academy, a Non-Governmental Organization transforming the lives of orphaned and Indigent girls. The organization provides them with free education, music, dance, and arts training. Seyi Oluyole is also the founder of The Dream Nurture Foundation, a foundation set up to provide and cater to the needs of children in underserved communities.
Eight years ago, the inspiring Seyi Oluyole returned to Nigeria from the United States, specifically to start a dance/arts-focused organization for street children. Seyi wanted to create a path to education and a better and sustainable future through talents. This she has achieved since starting the academy in 2014.

Often referred to as Aunty Seyi, the humanitarian is changing the world by paving the way for a better future for kids in Nigeria. She picks some kids off the street and provides them with a better life through art, dance, and music training. Most of the money got from their presentation is poured into their education.
Seyi’s passion for arts and innovative education has been reflected in her works over the years. She worked in the educational sector and creative arts for over seven years and has created lasting economic benefits for children and young adults through her programs. Seyi has written for African Magic’s Soap Operas- Tinsel, Hustle amongst others. She also directed and produced her first short film; Gbera in 2016. The short film was nominated for various awards and won the Best Short Film at the Eko International Film Festival in 2018.
Seyi has supported and impacted the lives of over 200 women and girls in suburban areas of Lagos, Nigeria, and is active in advancing the rights of women and girls in Africa.
Some of her innovative works have been recognized by international acts like Beyonce, Naomi Campbell, Justin Bieber, P.Diddy, Rihanna, and many others.
Seyi has gained recognition from the British Broadcasting Corporation – BBC, as one of the twenty Outlook Inspirations for 2018. In the same year, Dream Catchers Academy’s project received a recognition plaque from the Governor of Lagos State and was featured on the CNN African Voices Change Makers series and other mass media platforms like Aljazeera, and Yahoo News, ET Canada, to name a few. Seyi has also received numerous awards from the Nigerian Child Initiative.
Seyi holds a bachelor’s degree in English Language from Covenant University and a master’s degree in Human Services from Bellevue University.
